1) Click HELP
2) Click ABOUT NETSCAPE or ABOUT INTERNET EXPLORER
The version number will be listed on the top line. (Note: Use this method for any Windows based program to find it's version number.)
Once you determine the version number you have, visit either Internet Explorer's or Netscape's site to determine your version number. If your browser is out of date, please upgrade to the lastest version by following their instructions.

Please check the section above this one and follow the directions. If your problem still persists goto the Downloads for Windows Media Player site and download the lastest version of media player. After installing it, re-try.
